Yoga Class Etiquette
Basic guidelines that will help you to get the most out of your yoga practice.
- choose a class that is appropriate to your level of experience, if you are unsure ask
- arrive early for class so as to guarantee a spot allows you sufficient time to settle yourself before class begins
- any health concerns that may affect your practice such as recent injuries or chronic conditions remind the teacher before class begins
- yoga is best enjoyed in bare feet and on an empty stomach ( 2-3 hours after a large meal )
- if you arrive late please!!! enter quietly not to disturb others during centering and beginning meditation
- if you must leave class early please let the teacher know ahead of time
- teacher is always available for questions and support before and after each class so please don’t be shy
