Renata is a fantastic yoga teacher who brings a tremendous breadth of experience and depth of understanding to her teaching. Her attention to detail has helped me improve enormously: she breaks each pose into its components and then gives clear, detailed and consistent instructions so everyone can follow and improve, whatever their age, background and level of yoga experience. She is friendly, sincere and encouraging as she helps students understand both yoga techniques and philosophy, and her programming is always varied and challenging. After each class I leave with a sense of progress in some areas and a desire to return to learn more. I feel very lucky to have found such a gifted teacher! I can't recommend her highly enough.
Renata Mihalickova has been teaching me yoga for over a year and my practice has improved dramatically in that time! Her ability to explain proper alignment of the joints and spine have allowed me to remain free of injury so that I can continue to practice yoga daily. Renata brings a certain lightness of being to her class that allows me relax in even the toughest poses. Her emphasis on breathing properly and fully has helped me to understand how yoga can enrich my health and calm my state of mind. I always look forward to Renata’s Power class at the YMCA where I am a member. I feel blessed that such a capable and loving instructor is available to me!
I have had the distinct pleasure of acting as Renata’s supervisor in her role of Volunteer Yoga Instructor at the Robert Lee YMCA in downtown Vancouver. Renata brings a deeply grounded presence to her classes, inspiring trust in her participants and allowing them to relax into their practices. She is loved by many of the participants and staff members at our facility, who regularly book their “Renata time” into their week.
